New Adult Social Care Course: Promote & Facilitate Person Centred Planning
Person centred planning is a vital skill for
anyone working in adult social care. As a care worker, it
gives you the skills to discover and act upon what is important for
the individual you are caring for.
Following Government recommendations, Bedford
College has launched a new course that will provide you with
methods for delivering personalisation objectives and is
particularly relevant for carers who have a Level 2 or 3
qualification in Health and Social Care which did not cover person
centered planning.
The part-time course is delivered in the
workplace, costs £160 per person and covers: promoting person
centred approaches in health and social care; facilitating person
centered assessments; planning; implementation and review.
