local award for 
businesses - the Champion of Training award.
With Apprenticeships, skills sector demands
and quality vocational training very much in the news, Bedford
College is leading the way in providing the appropriate training.
It is now looking to recognise the work of companies in using
training to their business advantage.
The Champion of Training Award is open to all
companies which can demonstrate business success through the
training and development of their staff.
The winner should be able to show how, through
a structured and supportive approach to training, a positive impact
on both staff and the organisation has been achieved. In your
application please include:
- a brief overview of your company
- how your training plan supports your business
objectives
- details of the training undertaken
- what the impact of training has been on both
the individual and the organisation
- and any plans for the future

employers across the region to help provide skilled and successful
staff.
