About Stefan Drew - the BBC's Marketing Magician
The BBC regularly introduces Stefan Drew as the "Marketing
Magician". His marketing speciality is low cost and free
marketing, much of it online. He helps businesses to get “more
customers, to spend more money with them, more
often”.
Stefan's clients range from sole traders
to multinationals. Many of them are based overseas and have
found him online. One example of how he used free online
marketing occurred when he promoted a series of business marketing
seminars in Portugal and attracted 50 businesses to them without

Another example is an Australian business that
found him when Googling, requested a regular copy of his Free
Marketing Tips, and, a few months later asked him to carry out some
Emarketing work for them. A third client was travelling
between London and Glasgow by train when he found Stefan online via
a low cost advert, emailed him and received a phone call back in
minutes. By the time the train arrived in Glasgow they had
agreed to work together - and the client had a contract in his
email in-tray.
All the techniques Stefan uses, and will
demonstrate, are simple to use; you don’t need technical
skills. Any business - whatever its size - can use
these methods and accomplish what Stefan and his clients achieve
without spending much.
