CIW Site Development AssociateThe CIW Site Development Foundations course teaches you essential web page development skills and ways to work as a productive part of a website development team.  Students will learn to develop websites using Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) and Extensible HTML (XHTML).  They will learn to write code manually, as well as use graphical user interface (GUI) authoring tools.  Other topics include XHTML code validation, Internet marketing and search engine optimization, and content formatting with style sheets. If you want the knowledge and skills to design or improve websites, this course is for you.

Once certified, you have proven that you have foundational knowledge to develop basic websites. This certification is ideal for students and professionals who want a career in website design or marketing.
