IT User Apprenticeships
Over three quarters of people use IT in their
job including over 90% of managers, professionals, associated
professionals and secretarial and administrative staff. Employers
who report skills gaps state that over a third of their workforce
does not have the IT User skills they need.
The IT User Apprenticeships both have three
components:
- ITQ Diploma in IT
User Skills
You can choose from a wide
range of units to fit the employee’s job role. Each unit is
allocated a number of credits and the candidate must achieve the
required number of credits at a specified level to achieve the
qualification.
- Functional Skills in
Maths, English & ICT
Candidates who already hold
the required level of qualification are exempt
- Employment
Rights and Responsibilities
This provides evidence that the candidate is aware of their own
responsibilities and those of the employer
