Certificate in IT User Skills (ITQ)
Workers in virtually all occupations need to
be able to use increasingly sophisticated IT systems in a
productive and efficient way to help drive business goals. IT
users not only have a need for skills in basic desktop technology
but are also required to be conversant with security management, IT
support processes, communication tools and mobile technologies.
The flexible nature of ITQ means that IT users
can choose what aspects of IT to become competent in and for
employers to fine-tune IT training to meet their needs too. The ITQ
offers a wide range of units, and employees can
mix the level of the units that make up their qualification to
ensure they match the job role.
ITQ is the ideal
qualification to select for this training and recognition of IT
skills because your employees can choose from a to fit their job
role. Each unit is allocated a number of credits and the candidate
must achieve the required number of credits at a specified level to
achieve the qualification.
The qualification is offered in the workplace
at level 2 and level 3:
- Level 2 ITQ Certificate in IT
User Skills – 16 credits
- Level 3 ITQ Certificate in IT
User Skills – 25 credits
