Our primary mission is to support the local economy through the
provision, development and delivery of excellent skills training
and vocational education.
Bedford College aims to be a leading provider of IT training
that is accredited with the Training Quality Standard for our work
with employers
Our strategic aims
are:
- To work proactively with
employers and other key stakeholders to contribute to
sector reform and to ensure the continued relevance of
our IT training provision
- To prepare the future workforce
for successful employment by developing a range of flexible
employer-led provision to improve IT Professional and IT User
skills that are needed across all industries
- To develop the workforce to
realise their potential to exploit new technology for improved
business performance
- To establish apprenticeships,
VRQs and bespoke training solutions as channels for engagement with
employers
- To develop networking
opportunities with local employers in order to exchange information
and to inform curriculum development and innovation
