Your team are never too old to learn
News in the national press is full of doom and
gloom about cutbacks in Government funding for adult learners -
but, hurrah, help is nearby.
Bedford College is here to serve employers in
Bedfordshire and make sure that they can call upon a workforce with
the right skills to help their business flourish. That means
helping companies to access whatever training they need to keep
employees up to speed with today’s changing demands.
The Business Development Team at Bedford
College works closely with employers each and every day -

Learners event at Argos/DHL.
Taking training into the workplace is a
service which has been offered by Bedford College for nearly a
decade - we know you are often unable to free staff from their day
jobs to join us on our college campus. We work closely with
employers and unions to encourage a positive approach to training
among your employers - in their own place of work.
Taking a broader view, Bedford College
concentrates on helping those who who have yet to find employment
get themselves ready for the workplace. This can include teaching
English as a Second Language classes for newcomers to the UK.
English Language Teaching is a key training skill offered at
Bedford College to those who are seeking employment by Karike de
Klerk and team. If you have staff who need assistance with English
then please just ask the Business Development Team on 01234 291747
or email training@bedford.ac.uk.
