Getting British Business
Online (GBBO) is a nationwide campaign developed by
Google, BT, e-skills UK and Enterprise UK, that will offer the
tools and knowledge to help small businesses do business online
with their own free website hosted by Google.
With a high profile press launch in
February 2010 and Getting British Business Online week in April
2010, the target is to get at least 100,000 small businesses online
by the end of 2010.
To help small businesses enjoy all these benefits,
BedfordCollege has joined the 'Getting British Business Online’
campaign to offer you a free professional business
website. All you need to do is provide a few basic details about
your business, such as your address and a quick description of what
you do. Then the easy-to-use ‘website wizard’ does the rest. You
don’t need any computer skills, it shouldn’t take more than 20
minutes, and it won’t cost you a penny.
