Bedford College is situated on the attractive
embankment of the River Great Ouse, barely a stone’s throw away
from the bustling town centre, and houses many of our professional
and vocational courses.
In addition, across the road from the main
campus, there is a brand-new ground floor training suite in
Cauldwell House which is used for some of our short courses.
The room offers air conditioning and natural daylight, and is
accessible for disabled delegates. This room
is also available to hire.
There is limited car parking available on
site. A pay and display system is in operation between 7.00am
and 10.00pm, and costs £1 per day (£2 per day at the weekends).

We are committed to green transport measures,
and encourage visitors to car share wherever possible, or
to find an alternative mode of travel. The nearest bus stops
are outside the main College site and Borough Hall. The
bus station is a five minute walk and the main train station
is a
15 minute walk and served by
First Capital Connect and East Midlands
Trains. St. John's station is a five minute walk and is served
by the Marston Vale
Community Rail Partnership. Bedford also has an excellent
park
and ride scheme in operation.
Gas & Plumbing Technology Centre

Situated just off the M1 on Woburn Road Industrial Estate,
Kempston, this state-of-the-art facility houses all of our plumbing
and gas courses, utilising 21 plumbing bays, 12 airing cupboard
spaces, an unvented hot water training area and an integrated gas
assessment centre. The centre offers free parking.
Vehicle Technology Centre

Situated just off the M1 on Woburn Road Industrial Estate,
Kempston, our centre is fully kitted out with an MOT bay, paint mix
and spray rooms, and a body repair room. The centre offers
free parking.

Situated just off the A1 and a short taxi ride
form Biggleswade Train Station served by
First Capital Connect, The Mansion
House provides a welcoming setting for many of our workshops and
short courses. The Mansion House combines
state-of-the-art facilities with period rooms and wonderful views
across the grounds.
